Dark Heresy SECOND EDITION: Astro-paladin?

Lately I've delved into the grim darkness that is Warhammer 40,000, more specifically the Rogue Trader and 2nd Edition Dark Heresy roleplaying games, and I was interested in playing them online, but I'm not sure how best to build characters with them, since I was reared on D&D and Pathfinder.

The concept I'm itching to try is an Astropath who never bought into the "blind and withered old man" archetype typically associated with his profession, training to use his psyker powers in conjunction with melee combat to fight the Emperor's enemies with a force sword.

My question is how I'd do this in Dark Heresy. In Rogue Trader, it's very simple, as Astropath Transcendent is a career right in the game, but Dark Heresy's role system complicates things. While I can definitely play a psyker, I don't see any specific rules to deal with the Astropath's unique features, their blindness compensated for by their psyker powers, and their soul being bound to the Emperor. Any Dark Heresy players out there who can offer advice with this, please?

Thank you for your time. The Emperor Protects.

There's actually a soul-bound trait. As far as I know, there's no way to purchase it as a PC, so you'd need to get your GM to let you have it.

I played 1st ed DH but I do remember you could buy things off other classes list with the approval of the GM and it usually will cost more than it would for somebody with that list.
