Is Purple Duck still producing?

Product Discussion

If so, is there any plans to release more covenant magic supplemental material. I'd love to see how it might evolve with the release of Occult Adventures, especially their version of the medium. A great class, one that I think would fit into the Psychic world better than the arcane.

PDG's most recent supplement, Drow of Porphyra, was released September 7, 2015, less than two weeks ago. Hence, I think it is safe to say that PDG is still around and releasing new content.

Now, for your specific request...someone who has played with the Covenant Magic Medium class, I'm not really sure what there is to be gained by mixing it with the Occult Adventures Medium class. They both use the Vancian spell list/spell slot system, but otherwise they don't really have anything in common aside from the name.
The big thing the CM Medium could gain from Occult Adventures is an expanded spell list. I'd be happy to see a short supplement which added a bunch of spells from OA to the Medium spell list.

They certainly are, Aqua! Purple Duck had a Lovecraft product hit alongside the big Lovecraft sale over at OBS and it proceeded to blast through to the copper bestseller level in a week or so.

As others have said, they most certainly are. There was a big blog post on September 8th:

Thanks for the info! For some of my favorite 3pp, it's hard to follow their releases. I'm interested in seeing the untitled Occult supplement mentioned.

Yeah, I just picked up their Lovecraftian Toolkit this week. It's great!

Glad to help.

Kinda grumpy about how well that thing's selling when my own fanbase gave me a, "Myeeeeeeeeeeh~" when I proposed a Lovecraft thing awhile back. Grumpy with the fanbase, not PDG. Going to have to ignore the naysayers and make the dang thing at some point now :P

I know one gamer that would buy it!

Purple Duck Games is still producing but broke his shoulder on the 10th of September. He is also shocked by the success of the Lovecraft fantasy toolkit's succes. It has not sold well here at Paizo or d20pfsrd but has sold really well at Rpgnow.

It is a book that had been in the works for some time. I say the threads that Interjection Games mentioned (fanbase reaction to the pitch) and actually delayed finishing it as a result of those comments.

I've had requests for a the Covenant Magic books to be compiled into an Ultimate Covenant Magic tome but do not have anyone working on it yet.

You need work done on a crunch tome? We can talk, if you like.

Glad to hear my old class is still kicking up interest!

Functionally, I'd say the previous posters are correct; the mediums have little in common and would be difficult to combine beyond spell lists; the OA medium's spirits are just too darn big to fit into the chassis of the Covenant Magic medium. Of course, that doesn't preclude borrowing further material in an archetype or other more elaborate rules change.

As the original poster, I want to say I agree. I don't want the Occult Adventures medium incorporated into the Covenant medium. I do think there are a number of spells that would fit fantastically and that the Covenant medium 'feels' more psychic than arcane. I don't want to change the covenant medium substantially; I think it's fantastic.

To be honest, I dream of a new 3pp occult book that brings together Radiance pact magic, Purple Duck's covenant magic, incantations, and other fantastic occult flavored material in to one integrated tome that blends with the excellent new Occult Adventures put together by Paizo.
