Creating Psionic Monsters, How to Calculate PE?

Rules Questions

So i am currently making some custom monsters and i wanted to use the new psionic rules for Pathfinder. I am a little confused as to how you assign the PE points for psionic abilities.

If anyone would happen to know how or have some advice or even where it appears i would be grateful.

What psionic rules are you referring to? Paizo doesn't have psionics and I'm not familiar with PE as a term in Dreamscarred's work.

***Edit***

Realized that you're probably talking about psychic magic from the Occult Bestiary.

At a glance at what's on the pfsrd, it looks like creatures with innate psychic abilities start with a PE of 5, and this doesn't appear to have any hard and fast rules on how it scales. The universal monster rule for psychic magic describes how to calculate DCs and how to use existing entries, but not how to extrapolate PE.

I did a quick look at the various psychic monsters though, and it looks like the formula is probably 5 base + 1 per 2 racial hit die the creature possesses.

***Edit 2***
Just noticed the higher hit die psychic monsters seem to add their casting modifier to this total.

Thank you. I wasn't really sure and at the time i did not have the time to do the math. I appreciate your work Ssalarn. :)
