I got my Pathfinder Adventure Path-Rise of the Runelords messenger bag back mid to late April. I use it a few times a week to carry Pathfinder books as well as supplies for gaming. I just noticed that the inner rubberized lining is breaking apart and the outer layer is being rubbed from the inside. It's making those areas thinner.
After just under five months, I wouldn't expect a messenger bag to be falling apart like this. Materials breaking down. Before I have a catastrophic failure (books and stuff falling in the parking lot), I wanted to know if these types of messenger bags are known for their extremely short life span or is it just my bag?
I wouldn't expect a backpack to start failing at this point. I don't expect it from this either.
Sincerely,
Theryon

Hi Sharaya,
I have done so. Two pictures of the damaged areas of the bag. Both are in the back of the bag near the top where the flap starts. I happen to notice it when I pulled the Occult Adventures out of the bag last night and there were flakes of the lining on the book.

UPDATE: I'm getting an automated abort from customer.service@paizo.com. The pictures were only 156kb and 155 kb in size.
