Google circa early 19th century trade goods. Much of it hadn't changed significantly in centuries+. I think they still use jute/hemp/hessian bags now to transport grain.
Cotton will likely be in bales, Grain will be in sacks.
Most metal would be available in worked form, be that ingots, bars, rods or some other shape. I would be surprised to see raw lumps of metal as a trade good.

Well, also, I could use lumps/bars/etc of Special Material as improvised weapons.
It works with Gold, as you can catch people by surpise by presenting them as payment, and then hitting them with it.
There are not too many ways to get Special Material improvised weapon, so the I figured buying them as Trade Goods would work.

Are Trade Goods listed in Chapter 2 of Ultimate Equipment available?
I hadn't realized UE had Trade Goods.
My Paladin has been buying the ones from the CRB this entire time.
He has the Farmstead Vanity, so all gold he earns through his Day Job checks he converts into livestock Trade Goods.
