Magus (Mindblade archetype) and Fighter Training

Can anyone tell me what the point of this is? I mean seriously, you get access to like a handful of feats. And for the Mindblade where ideally you are going to be using a wide range of weapons the few feats you do gain access to are pointless.

Even though you can manifest any damn weapon you want, you will be rewarded for picking a specific one and sticking with it. That's true for everyone.

And there are other fighter only feats than weapon specialization. Disruptive and Martial Versatility for example.

The base Magus also gets fighter training, and it's really not the most impressive part of the class. Frankly, other than perhaps Weapon Specialization, I wouldn't bother with it. There are so many great non-fighter feats to pick from, after all.

+1 to Kurald's point: its a mediocre ability to start with, not just for the Mindblade. I rarely see builds that take advantage of it until very high level with some of the critical feats.
