Hello, I am a sucker for the adventures I played in my childhood. Adventures as Rahashia, ronald & ragnar and horror on the hill (I think it was called like that) will bring a smile to anyone who have ever played. Those adventures where all part of the B series of the old time D&D. Of course that was in the stone age with first edition rules of D&D. But I was wandering is there any (even the sliches) change that Paizo can bring those old school adventures back to live. Of course using the modern rules of 3.5 edition.
Thanks

Well most of the old monsters have Pathfinder counterparts. There might be some level/CR issues but there are enough modern monsters of just about every conceivable type that you can find a stand in that fits the right tone.
Your biggest hurdle is the tone of the adventures. But there are some ways to get back the older tone.
1-More traps. Use classic ones that are not necessarily skill obstacles like modern simple traps. Make more puzzles. More things to figure out.
2-Cursed items. Bring back the original hexes.
3-More randomness. Rather than running the party into a set number of well designed CR appropriate challenges ei- 6 orcs, or 1 spider, or 1 giant spider and 2 swarms and so on. Try letting them encounter 1 Orc cheiftan and 2d4 orcs, or 1 giant spider and 1d4 spider swarms and so on. The old monster manual and adventures had more variation with in a much smaller system. Even the same adventure might be very very different when the DM rolled the encounters.
4-Glory, treasure and the insatiable acquisition of POWER. Even the good wizard (mostly good wizard) wanted more knowledge more spell power and so on. After level 1 you were not guaranteed any old spell you wanted. You rolled for them. You had to lean them from scrolls with a possibility for failure. You bought spells, you shared spell books with wizards for favors. Your spell book was your life and when you killed a wizard or a bard (back in the day) you with glee rummaged through their things for the spell book perhaps you might find some nuggets of magic power you don't have. Immagine you hit 5th level and you have access to 3rd level spells but you have never learned fireball, you have yet to find a scroll, spell book or someone willing to tech you.
