Need help with concept for a kaiju-based campaign.

Advice

I've recently started to get into the kaiju genre and I was thinking about doing a campaign based around a large coastal city that is constantly attacked by kaiju, with the PCs being caught up in it all.I was also planning on making it a bit like the Godzilla movies and have Mogaru make an attack on the city at first but then have him defend the planet from other giant monsters.

However, I'm not sure what to have the PCs do. I did have the idea of doing it Pacific Rim style and have them pilot giant constructs but I'm not sure how to do rules for mecha or drive-able constructs in Pathfinder.

Any advice is appreciated.

I would consider snagging Everyman Gaming's Microsized Adventures; despite the name of the book, it does a good job of covering all size differences whether you're fighting something much larger or much smaller than yourself...and Endzeitgeist agrees for what that's worth to you. You might alo consider Rite Publishing's Kaiju Codex, which also has some rules for doing it Pacific Rim style if that's your preference.

The Kaiju Codex does seem interesting....it might be my first 3rd-party purchase.
