Balazar and Summoned Monsters

I took a quick peek and didn't find this asked/answered any where.

If Balazar has to summon a monster to defeat, does he get to keep it?

No, he can't. Only actual monsters that get banished when defeated. A summoned monster doesn't get banished in the same way.
