Occultist - Battle Host archetype questions

Rules Questions

Shadow Lodge

I like the idea, but I have two questions. I'd be using it in PFS, so I'm rather tied to RAW.

1. Panoply bond lets you bond with an item, and gives you a free masterwork item of normal material. What if you are multiclassing and already have an item that you want to bond with?

2. The bonded item "is immune to the broken condition for as long as the battle host lives". How does this interact with the Oracle Wrecker curse of "held objects gain the broken condition when you use or equip them"? Or the Disposable / Splintering weapon feats that let you give the weapon the broken condition in exchange for an effect?

For the oracle, it sounds like a case of general (break everything you have) vs specific (this can't be broken). If so, cool. One dip and you've got an oracle with a single weapon he can effectively use.

For the feats I'm not so sure. Does it get the broken condition but not take any penalties because it's immune? Does it prevent the activation of the feat entirely? (Thematically it should prevent the feats from working, but...)

Any ideas?

1. You may select an item that you possess if you want. You get the item for free if you start as a Battle Host, but you form the bond with "a specific masterwork [item]." You simply get that masterwork item for free if you wouldn't have one already.

2. Specific trumps general, as you said. You cannot activate disposable or splintering weapon because you cannot apply a condition to a target that is immune - just like how you can't trip a flying opponent, for instance, or use the Burn class feature on the Kineticist if you're immune to nonlethal damage.
