The Future of Face Cards?

Accessories

Face Cards are my favorite of the card sets, so I'm a little bit worried that there don't seem to be any more sets scheduled on the pipeline (and the last set was came much later than anticipated). Also, there haven't been any campaign cards in a good long while (I mine those for additional face cards).

Are there any plans for face cards to return in the future? I'm fiending pretty badly for them at the moment.

I believe they are being put on hold for the time being along with the item cards. I enjoy them too, so I'm buying up as many of the previous sets as possible.

Booooooooo!

I have all of the previous sets, but I'm always eager for more. Paizo, show me some love on this!

I know the campaign cards (you mean the ones themed for each module, right?) sold very poorly. I believe that the same is true for face cards.

I figured that the campaign cards weren't big sellers. I bought them, pulled out the face cards, and discarded the rest, so they weren't a particularly good deal for me. I'm surprised to hear that the dedicated face card sets sold poorly, though; I love those things!

The face cards were useful, although the campaign cards were actually my favorite.

Fingers crossed it's a hiatus rather than the end of the line.

Yep, I loved the Face Cards too, and mourn their (hopefully temporary) demise. I also really liked the campaign cards.

I just like to be able to give my players physical things, whether it's a quest card, item card (although only for important items, the general item cards just became clutter) or face card of the person they're talking to.

I've resorted to printing out images from the internet and putting them in card sleeves when I need new faces. There's a few alternate print-on-demand sources out there, though, like these ones.

I'm going to take this opportunity to bang on my Print-on-Demand drum. The Adventure Card Game has a Print-on-Demand program that uses User-Uploaded art, and if Paizo is finished with the Face Cards line, that seems like a good fit -- those of us who still want them would have access to new art, but would also bear the cost of printing.

The problem with Campaign Packs...Some people don't ever play them...

Myself I use Cards like Crazy..I snag any set I can...I use them where I can...Some people will say " I ain't playing (insert Name here), so I don't need that set."

I even Pulled out the ol' AD&D cards and organized them..great for NPCs.

We need Potion Cards, We need Scroll Cards, We need Mundane item Cards...and we need them in stock where we can buy them.

Otherwise we have to design and Printout our own...and you lose out on Money from Sales.

I did the same, though there was a lot of chaff to separate from the wheat.

I'm doing that, too, and though they aren't as fancy, they work in a pinch.

But I'd still rather be buying official!

I agree...Plus I can't find enough suitable images for all the different Cards..

I did not use all the Cards from the Sets...Something about Spelljammer just not right in my World :)
