Hi i need help working out my leadership score. I have a 8th level Elf Hunter with a Charisma of 16, Natural born leader background trait (+1), diadem of inspiring rule (+3), Base of Operations (+2), Has a animal companion (-2) and hasn't lost a follower or cohort yet and no other mods. The way i read the feat i should have 3 scores,a base score, one for my cohort (Owl)and one score for my followers. So base score and cohort score would be 13 and my follower score would be 16 is this correct or am i missing something. Thanks for your help

It seems you've presented this the hard way.
First calculate your base score, then derive the other two modified values from that.
Base: 8 + 3 + 1 + 3 = 15
Cohort: 15 - 2 (familiar) = 13
Followers: 15 + 2 (base) = 17
So you can get a 6th level cohort of any adventuring class and you can get nearly a full platoon of lower-level guys: 30 first level soldiers, 3 second level corporals, 1 third level sergeant, and 1 fourth level lieutenant. (No, they don't have to be military, you could get a bunch of blacksmiths or a small village of farmers and a few NPCs to run the inn and store and tavern, or whatever other arrangement you like).

Thanks Blake much appreciated that does clarify it.
