Does the following stack when it comes to Magical Arm and armor creation time?
Father's Forgehammer (Inner Sea Gods pg. 264) which is a wondrous item.
Then you have the Forgemaster Archetype (Advance Race Guide Page 16) "Master Smith" class ability.
If they do stack then a person can make Magical Arms and armor at 25% of the normal time required (Price still is the same)
This seems to be a little to good but I am wanting to see what the community thinks and if there is any official clarification or did I just miss a rule somewhere.
My player is a home campaign so this is not a PFS issue.

the total time to craft the item is decreased by 25% (minimum 1 day)
and can craft magical metal items in half the normal amount of time.
The way I read it, Master Smith adjusts the normal time to half, and the hammer reduces that amount by 25% (to 37.5%[3/8], minimum 1 day).
I say this because the "total time" when crafting with Master Smith is always "half"; I just don't see how you can possibly apply the hammer reduction first without major mental gymnastics.

Huh. I responded to this thread yesterday. Weird. Or maybe I just never hit "submit". Shoot. I had links and everything.
Alrighty, let's assume an 8 day crafting session. There are 3 possible answers to your question.
2 days (8-[50%+25%]=2)
3 days (8-25%=6;6-50%=3)
3 days (8-50%=4;4-25%=3)
I believe it would be 2 days, since multipliers are generally added together and calculated at the same time. Charging lance crits are ×4, for example, and not ×6, for this same reason.
