Per Round Damage, when does it happen?

Rules Questions

It just occurred to me that I don't actually know the RAW of when 'per round damage' [such as being on fire for example] occurs.

A PRD link or CRB page reference would be ideal, thank you.

I'm pretty sure it happens at the beginning of the affected target's turn.

Bleeding
Fire

Thanks

It's also implicit in the combat round rules:

Quote:
Effects that last a certain number of rounds end just before the same initiative count that they began on.

The implication is that the effects happen on the same initiative count, just before anything else.

For multiple effects, I'd let the character decide which happens first (for example, troll has taken 7 points of damage and has a 3 point bleed. He can choose to regen 5 (bringing him to 2 damage) and stop the bleed, or (if he's stupid), take the bleed first, and then regenerate, leaving him on 5 damage with the bleed stopped).
