Iron Gods: I want to build power armor from salvaged robot parts. NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Advice

I'm beginning an Iron Gods campaign, as a player.

My character is an Android Unchained Barbarian.

I have this idea that I want to use my expertise in knowledge engineering (gained through feats) to collect and assemble robot parts and technology to build a sort of power armor. (Think Fallout, not really Warhammer 40k)

I'm guessing Craft Armor would probably be necessary as well.

Do you folks generally think this would be possible? If so, what else would you require?

Actually, you are probably looking at Craft Technological Arms and Armor from the Technology Guide. There is also a tech based barbarian archtype in that book (for using guns and buffs DEX instead of STR for rage).

Your main problem... Power Armor is an artifact so you can't craft it.

You might want to consider going into cybernetics instead?

If you are serious about the concept, you should pick up the Technology Guide as it has all the goodies you'll want to play with.

You're going to need a box of scraps. And a cave.
