I know that GMs want to know what map products are appearing in the upcoming Gen Con releases, so I have typed up a list of maps used by scenario. With the exception of the quests, each adventure includes at least one custom half-page map.
[[All custom maps]]
Flip-Mat: Ancient Dungeon (circular room side)
Flip-Mat: Arcane Dungeon (large oval room side)
Flip-Mat: Village Square
Flip-Mat: Watch Station (sewer side)
Map Pack: Dungeon Dangers
Map Pack: Evil Ruins
Flip-Mat: Monastery (above-ground)
Map Pack: Rooftops
Flip-Mat Classics: Village Square
Flip-Mat: Hill Country
Map Pack: Dungeon Sites
Flip-Mat Classics: Tavern (the larger of the two taverns)
Flip-Mat Classics: Woodlands
Flip-Mat: Haunted Dungeon (only the bottom third that includes the entrance, the spider den, and the well)
Flip-Mat: Pathfinder Lodge (the "downstairs" side)
Flip-Mat: Thornkeep (only the 9x14 portion of the Enigma Vaults map that includes area C3 and the immediate hallways)
Map Pack: Shrines

** spoiler omitted **
Are any of the custom maps from 6-99 old maps from 3-02 Sewer Dragons of Absolom, some other adventure, or all new?

Both are new.

Two questions -
1) Is there an easy way to print out maps at the right scale? (trying to avoid drawing maps while at GenCon as I tend to run long as is) (especially for the custom maps but also for maps which are now out of print - see below)
2) is there a reason why many of these scenarios use flip mats which are now out of print? If you don't already own them that makes it a bit harder to prep...

Rycault:
1) Use PosteRazor -- I just count the squares, knowing that it is 1" per square, and set the size appropriately.
2) That I cannot help you with :D
what is PosteRazor? - I haven't heard of it - looks like the Sourceforge repository for it is down currently. Does it work with modern Mac's? (seems like the last mac version is from 2008)

I make sure that the map's DPI is set correctly first. I open the image in Irfanview (other image editors are available) and drag out an area to see how many pixels tall/wide it is. For example, if I select an area that's 10 squares by 10 squares on the map, and Irfanview shows that I've selected an area that's 638x643 pixels, I know I then need to set the image as 64 DPI (Image>Information) before saving it and opening in PosteRazor.
PosteRazor then scales the image correctly - no resizing needed.

For a lot of the maps, there's not much you can do about that. The images are only so big, and so they're going to look grainy when you blow them up to multiple times their original size.
OK, cool, thanks. Makes me feel better that I wasn't messing something up while using the program. The maps are usable, would just be nice to have a little higher quality. Obviously, for some of them, that answer is to actually buy the flip-map, but some of the maps are custom ones for the specific scenario.
