would anyone see any problem with a feat that would empower Lay on the hands 3x per day?

What prerequisites would the feat have? If any? If none, why do you think there should be no prerequisites?

How would the feat determine stats other than 3x day?

What if they take it multiple times?

What level will the effect be at? Just plain 1d6 of positive energy?

As far as the damaging side goes, that's pretty crap at low levels, melee touch attack to deal only 1d6 damage to undead. Wizard can do that as a level 0 spell as a RANGED touch attack, they can do it over and over. A wand of 50 charges would cost only 375gp.

And there are still better ways of screwing with the undead:
-Holy water
-Holy weapon balm
-Ghost Salt for incorporeal

I hope you aren't doing this out of desperation to get healing because you think the only way to get heals is with divinity.

Consider:
-Scroll of Infernal Healing
-Vial of Efficacious Medicine
-Godless Healing (feat)
-Shawl of Life Keeping
-Troll Oil
-Troll Syptic

And finally, are you not aware that a form of this feat already exists

It has many prerequisites, and it is 1/day, though is apparently compatible with "Extra Lay On Hands" to bring the total up to x3 uses per day.

So yes, there are quite a few problems with your feat. It replicates TWO existing feats without any apparent prerequisites. Again, fine with your party, but I think such a homebrew might not be necessary.

Alex, You can't take Empower Lay on the hands until at least 3rd level because you have to have Lay on the Hands before you would take anything that would modify it and you don't get LoH until 2nd level.

I would consider requiring a 15 Charisma.

You would also have to be a Paladin or a Hunter/Blessed Healer [Note Blessed Healer is an arch type that I made you have to LG or NG to take the arch type]

this would not add additional times per day, that would be extra lay on the hands an existing feat this would be the similar to the Empower spell feat it would simply increase the amount of healing that Lay on the hands does. This feat is primarily designed for a hunter arch type that uses a lay on the hands like ability.

The reason I picked the 3 times per day is that 1 time a day would be too weak and the empower meta magic lesser rod is doing the same thing for at a cost of 9000gp most feats made into magic item powers run about 10000gp

There is a channel feat that uses up 2 uses to have one go off empowered. I'd probably follow a similar format for a LoH one.
