Online SRD "legal" for Society Play

Is it legal to use the OFICIAL Online SRD legal as "having the books you are using with you"?

Are the PDFs ok, or do we need hardbound copies?

Thanks

No. Watermarked PDF's, watermarked PDF printouts, or the real McCoy are legal.

Gullyble is correct. The PRD is no proof that you own a book, but the watermarked PDFs are okay.

First, there is no offical online SRD. For pathfinder it is the PRD.

My understanding is that players can use it for the core book. GMs can use it for pretty much whatever they need.

Everything else needs a watermarked PDF, watermarked pdf printout, or a physical book.

The point (for online games) is that if you're using a particular rule, you've paid your dues to Paizo to use it.

For an in-person game, there's the added caveat that the rule is at the table if a GM wants to see it.

Mike Brock ruled that a screenshot of your downloads page coupled with links to the PRD was acceptable.

The section of Mike Brock's quote that is relevant here wrote:
A screenshot of your downloads page, coupled with links to the appropriate PRD pages would cover both purposes if you choose to utilize such a method.

Nefreet, your link in that other post is off by two.
