Unclear. You would need a shield in one hand and nothing in the other. Missile Shield doesn't actually grant you Deflect Arrows, it just functions the same way except with a shield instead of an empty hand. I'd be inclined to let them both function once per turn each.

okay, cheers. and yeah, I'm currently playing a build (brawler archetype - shield champion) that uses fist and a shield.

I'd guess that you'd see some table variation.
Benefit: You must be using a light, heavy, or tower shield to use this feat. Once per round when you would normally be hit with an attack from a ranged weapon (not including spell effects, natural attacks, or massive ranged weapons), you may deflect it so that you take no damage, as if you had the Deflect Arrows feat. You must be aware of the attack and not flat-footed.
Emphasis mine.
As it works "as if you had the Deflect Arrows feat" - that could arguably mean that it's under the same limitations as Deflect Arrow, and using one in a turn would prohibit using the other.
*shrug* - there's a reasonable argument both ways.
I wouldn't bother even if you could be 100% sure that they stack unless your GM REALLY likes archers or some such - after you have one of them the other gives diminishing returns. After all - often you'd only have been hit by a single arrow in a round anyway and the 2nd feat would go to waste.

could be handy in an ambush. 5 players walk into the woods, 10 archers appear from the trees and fire, two archers per man. but yeah, but it could be handy if archers are constantly picking on me. and it would pretty good at nullifying rapid shot.

It's not worthless - but you have the opportunity cost of a different feat - probably one less situational. *shrug*
