Modules and slow track

Grand Lodge 3/5

I've got a character at level 6.2.
I'd like to go slow track for level 7.
I'm going to be GMing a module for 3XP and 4PP.

Is there anyway to make this work, or do I have to just suck it up and do level 7 fast track (or apply this GM chronicle to a nebulous future character?)

You could decline to take credit for your character or hold the credit for a different one.

Currently, there is no way to change from normal track to slow track partway through a level.

Some of us have been asking for this rule to be changed.

And it sounds like the campaign coordinators are listening.

Of course, any changes to this won't come around until the new guide is released, which will be in early August.

That is an excellent avatar name, by the way.

I take it then that the module you are running allows level 6 characters to play?

If not, no issue...

Yeah, it's a 5-7. Sounds like I'll just go fast for my last session at 7th and slow at 8th. Not a horrible loss, and maybe it won't be an issue next season.

Thanks Fox. Not many people get it. ;)

I always wonder, "Illuminatus reference? Or mathematics?"

I'm a mathematician, so I assumed it was the math reference. :)

As a computational linguist, I assumed the mathematical one as well.
