Working week and calculating

Rules Questions

How many days in a week of crafting? 5 or 7?

What's a good equation to calculate how fast you craft something? Mostly with simpler stuff like a dagger. I've kinda just winged the calculations a bit but I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong

7 days unless you as gm says the Week is shorter or longer. You only work 8 hours a day.

It is the DC times the Skill Check equals progress made in silver.

Example: a dagger is 2gp or 20sp with DC 12 to craft. The player Rolls a 15. 12x15=180. So the player made 180sp of worth of progress or 9 times the cost to make it. Meaning a player could make a dagger in about a day worth of work.

The player is allowed to add 10 to the DC to increase how fast they craft the item.

Example: Dagger is 2gp or 20sp with DC 12 to craft. The player adds 10 to make it a DC 22 and rolls a 25 check. The player made 550sp of progress or 27.5 times more than need to make the item. Meaning a player could make a Dagger in 2 hours or 4 daggers in a day.

This assumes you use the Core crafting rules not the unchained crafting rules.

Does the rule of only being able to make one item per day apply only to magic items? I thought it applied to mundane crafting as well.
