I was looking at the Pathfinder Fiction Contest page, and it mentions "Stories will be between 3000-4000 words using existing canon concerning the Age of Destiny -3470 AR to 1 AR." but further on it says "You can enter the contest by submitting one (1) short story based on Paizo’s Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Campaign Setting, set in the world of Golarion."
I don't know what to make of this, most of the campaign settings are almost 5000 years later.
Here is the link to the contest page: http://pathfinderchronicler.net/contest-details/

Are you asking for places to find information? If so, the Pathfinderwiki has this list of various articles. You could also try contacting zuxius@pathfinderchronicler.net, and ask him.

My advice would be to examine the expanded timeline in the Inner Sea World Guide for the Age of Destiny and look at all the happenings which were going on from -3470 AR to 1 AR. There were a lot of ancient civilizations undergoing a lot of change during that time, so there should be no shortage of material from which to draw inspiration.

Another useful aid would be PathfinderWiki's Timeline feature. The Inner Sea World Guide covers a bunch, but it doesn't contain information on Tian-Xia (which the wiki does).
I actually considered heading to TIan-Xia for mine, because they had some good story seeds just laying around. (The angels leave Amanandar, A volcano eruption convinces people it's a second Age of Darkness, and a few others.)
