Liberty's Edge 1/5

I know it has been asked before. I have done a search on the message board but did not find anything useful/definitive.
I also want to that everyone who takes time to answer my questions.
Is there a place that lists the traits that are allowed an/or disallowed in PFS play?I know there are traits all over the place. The additional resources is a help,is that the best place to look? will that tell me what products have traits in them so I can go there to look for what is helpful and or useful for my character. Same with Feats. I think it would be a useful document to have for both things, just lists of allowed feats/traits and where to find them.

I believe Archives of Nethys marks all PFS-legal content with the Glyph of the Open Road. You could go see how their search function is. ^_^

Wow thanks man, that was freaking cool

PFSDB also has everything that is PFS legal (or at least it really does try to).

Traits are here: Traits

You can also easily search those traits through means such as this: Traits involving Intimidate

Want to see all traits that turn something into a class skill? Here you go!

It can be useful.

Just be aware that both of those sources are manually maintained and so have some errors. The only authoritative list is the Additional resources list, but it basically works in reverse from what you want: "that thing on page X of that book is/is not legal". This is because you are required to own the products that the traits come from in order to use them in PFS.

Archives and similar sites are a great start, just make sure you do check the legality on the official list before you play.

I predominantly use Archivesofnethys.

DO NOT use d20pfsrd. They often change the names and text of Traits to avoid violating copyright.

But yes, always cross reference the Additional Resources document.

Yeah, that's the way I always go too. I use a combination of Archives of Nethys and the PRD when building my character, then double-check the legality on the Additional Resources document.

I like the layout of the PRD for things like base classes, but Archives of Nethys has great organization in that you can browse all of the deities or all of the sorcerer bloodlines on one page.

Absolutely true.

Is pfsdb.com new? I hadn't seen that one until about two weeks ago.

Anyway, Archives of Nethys is pretty awesome, although it has a bit of a learning curve. The search engine is powerful and good at finding things if you have a clear idea of what you're looking for. It's not so good at fuzzy searches though; that's what I sometimes resort to d20pfsrd.org for.
