Okay I am a Nth Level Fighter/I take a level in Wizard becoming 1st level wiz. For my bonded object I can take any legal object I currently own without having to pay fr it? so If I own a +1 Dagger It could be that? Then I could add upgrades to it as normal? Or do I have to wait till I am 6th Wiz level? Why could I not just upgrade them with normal gold as my Fame would be high enough for the expenditure?
Also, instead let's say I take a new object like a +1 ring of protection I would only pay 1/2 price for the ring but then would have to pay normal upgrade cots? Same thing would I need to wait till I was a the level wiz or my char level was 5th before i could upgrade it? I thought the whole point of Fame and Prestige was building up good will from the PFS instead of them just giving out right cash to us, sort of like when 007 gets ready for a mission he goes and sees Q.

Thanks seems clearer. So now if I lose or my current one gets destroyed. I can take any legal item and as long as I pay for it make it into my bonded item or buy a new one at the discounted price or is the discount only for the first one. Say I have enough gold and fame for a ring of invisibility, can I buy that at the 1/2 price and do it that way?

As per the FAQ you must meet the caster level prerequisite as if the wizard has the feat. Taking a dip into wizard is not good if you are only going for the arcane bond discount.
Rings = Forge Ring (Caster level 7 - invis; protection - +1 caster level 7, +2 Caster level 7, +3 Caster level 9, +4 caster level 12, +5 caster level 15)
Weapons and Armor = Craft Magic Arms and Armor (Caster level 5 for +1, CL 6 for +2, CL 9 for +3, CL 12 for +4, CL 15 for +5)

No I am planning on doing a full multi class Ranger Wiz. I was told that the first bonded object because it was a masterwork was free you only had to pay the upgrade for free. Was also how I read it in a thread on here
The other thing is it says in the first sentence they start with it at"no cost". so what then is the price limit? That is a lot of lee way in there. is it max gold for Org play? Is it max gold for a masterwork weapon? or what? I mean it does not say

You can get a masterwork weapon for free, as long as the weapon is always available (no guns). You can get an arcane bonded ring for free, this ring is just a plain ring. To get a ring of invisibility, that you mentioned in post #3, for half price, you have to have a caster level of 7 to upgrade the arcane bond ring.

cool I am just making sure. I dont want to be a jerk and try to do something shifty or power gamey. I already got a vision in my head for my character. The thing that messed me is that I have to be the one who up grades my bonded item. I am a dual wielding Ranger. Was going to do my off hand weapon(Kukuri.I was just going to use gold as normal to increase its enchantment modifier. Now I am going to make it a ring.
