I'm a huge blues fan, and this sucks. Yeah, he was getting old, but when you saw him live in the last decade or two, you were catching him at the end of an array of the best other talent around -- I discovered Susan Tedeschi and Keb' Mo' by seeing them on stage before B.B. came out.

On top of that, he was, by all accounts, a warm and genuinely caring human being -- and a strong supporter of children's charities.

I feel like the world is diminished by his absence.
