The rules for Performance Combat are such that winning over the crowd helps you win the contest - you get up to a +2 morale bonus on most checks if the crowd loves you.
Also, crowd reaction (or that of a particular judge within the crowd) can serve as a tiebreaker in a joust if neither combatant is able to unseat their opponent or otherwise obtain clear victory within a certain timeframe.
Dramatic Display is at least worth mentioning since it's not very hard to qualify for (considering that the Gendarme gets a good amount of feats), adds a bit of style to the character, and applies whenever you hit on a charge (or bull rush, or when you crit). Adding Performing Combatant (no additional pre-requisites) allows you to use the feat in real combat (outside a joust).
It's especially worth mentioning because many readers may not be as familiar with these feats as they are with the mounted combat feats.
