Unchained FCB

Rules Questions

Should the Unchained classes be assumed to have the same favoured class bonus options as the standard versions of the classes, or do they not have any racial fcb options at all?

You're looking in the wrong place.

Favored Class Bonuses are a Racial feature, not a Class feature.

Whichever way I'm looking for it, "favored class bonus" does not appear anywhere in the text of Unchained.

Does a human unchained barbarian get to choose to increase the usefulness of superstition, or is he stuck choosing between hit points and skill points?

What I wanna know is how do favored class benefits work for the skill groups system?

That's because, as far as I am aware, there is no Chapter on Races in Unchained.

If you read the Core Rulebook, the Advanced Players Guide, Ultimate Combat, or Ultimate Magic, you likewise will not find anything about Favored Class Bonuses in any of the Class writeups.

The rules for Favored Class Bonuses (beyond the base hit point/skill point) are found in either the Advanced Players Guide (in the Chapter on Races), or within the individual Race writeups in the Advanced Race Guide.

Their lack of inclusion in Unchained does not mean they disappeared.

Any of those 3, mixed and matched to their heart's content.
