Timeline Retcons?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

So I just got "Towns of the Inner Sea" in preparation for a Darkmoon Vale campaign I'm running, when I noticed that the Night of Silver blood happened in 4712, according to this book, when it happened in 4707 in "Guide to Darkmoon Vale"

This confuses me a bit, because this is the first time I've seen an event retconned to a different year. I mean, Rise of teh Runelords still takes place in 4707, according to the Inner Sea World Guide, so what gives? Are there any other major chronological retcons I should know about?

Keep in mind that the mainline Golarion canon does not include scenario, module, nor AP events. Everything happens on it's own timeline.

The Night of Silver Blood isn't a module, is it? Its just something that happened and mentioned in "Guide to Darkmoon Vale"

Mainline canon does not include novels either.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It's not a novel or web fiction piece either - it's a piece of recent history mentioned in Guide to Darkmoon Vale (and Andoran - Spirit of Liberty).

unfortunatly, it isnt given a date in the Andoran, Birthplace of Freedom book that came out this month either.. although there is more information on the event there that I do not think has been written before
