What would be the best favored terrains for a ranger PC to pick for this awesome AP?

Urban is probably best for the first two books. Other plane (Abyss) will definitely be relevant at points. As for the Worldwound terrain, your GM's opinion may vary - I concluded that plains or mountain were most appropriate for the region touched by the Path.
