In my game Wednesday my players are going to be fighting cyclopes, my question is how that ability would work with abilities that force re-rolls. The specific instance is with the Preacher Archetype Inquisitor warning shout. I think that it would not work, because the cyclops is not actually rolling and flavor wise I cant see a warning shout trumping a monster seeing into the future to make sure his attack hits. Let me know what you think everyone, Thanks!

The cyclops makes an attack roll.
The preacher forces a reroll.
The cyclops makes another attack roll (according to the preacher ability the attacker is explicitly the one making another roll) as part of a forced reroll. As per it's ability it spends an immediate action to select the result of that roll. It keeps the selected roll as it's final roll.

The cyclops makes another attack roll as part of a forced reroll. It does not get to keep the result of the roll, because this is a different die roll to the first one (even if they are for the same check, the cyclops ability refers to a die roll, not a check).
