Cypher Script Spell Cost

Rules Questions

So Cypher Script goes as such

Spoiler:
Any spell you scribe in your spellbook costs half as much as normal and takes up only half the room it normally would (round all fractions up). It only takes you 10 minutes per spell level to scribe a spell into your spellbook (5 minutes for cantrips).

And the rules for copying spells into a spellbook go as such

Spoiler:
In most cases, wizards charge a fee for the privilege of copying spells from their spellbooks. This fee is usually equal to half the cost to write the spell into a spellbook (see Writing a New Spell into a Spellbook). Rare and unique spells might cost significantly more.

For example, a 1st level spell costs 10 gold to copy down. If half of that is assumed to be the price of the wizard you're copying it from, and the other half is the materials to copy it down, does that mean that it only costs 2.5 gold with cypher script?

Scribing a 1st level spell into your spell book normally costs 10gp. Getting it from another wizards add half the price to that, or +5 gp, for a total of 15gp.

The prices listed in the book assume you already have a copy of the spell to scribe. Getting the spell from another wizard increases those prices.

Cypher script should only halve the cost to scribe, not the cost to get the spell from the other wizard. Scribing a 1st level spell with cypher script would cost 5gp (10/2). Plus another 5gp for borrowing the other wizards spellbook so 10gp.

Sorry I messed that up, I meant to say the scribing cost was 2.5 gold, while the fee to the wizard would be the 5 gold for a total of 7.5 gold

So with cypher script, the total cost ends up being what it says on the table then
