Sidecart Question Order #3536632

I don't really understand what this sidecart business is all about. I made an order on the 16th #3536632. I checked on it today and it looked like it was possibly in limbo awaiting me to do something else?

Anyway, I pressed a button or two to try and get things moving and now I have another confirmation for order #3536803. Is this normal? Have I done something abhorrent? This system seems a wee bit funky.

Hello IrvinBraith,

The sidecart is where items go wait to ship out along with the next subscription order. Usually this is so that shipping costs can be minimized by shipping everything together instead of separately. The website defaults to this option for anyone who has an active subscription. You can change that by clicking on "Step 2 Shipping" during the checkout process. There is also a ship right away button on your sidecart items, but it has been a little combative lately and just cycles things into a new order and then sends them right back into the sidecart. This is what happened to you, and why you saw a new order number.

All the items are currently in your sidecart so they will ship out along with your May subscription. If you would like them to just go out right away I can take care of that. Let me know if you would like for me to do so.


Good grief, yes I would like them sent asap as I started this new campaign as of yesterday. I understand that technical issues happen, but your system has left me a bit wary. I hope y'all get it smoothed over.

I can understand your frustration, the sidecart issue has been difficult for us as well. The tech team is working on it so hopefully it will be working as intended again soon.
