Spells that enhance BAB

Hey guys,
Got a quick question:
If a character enhances his base attack bonus from 4 to 6 through divine favor, does he get an extra iterative attack?
Didn't anything about that in the PFSRD.

Divine Favor does not improve BAB. It gives you a luck bonus to attack and damage rolls.

If a spell actually improves your BAB, then yes you would gain extra attacks. But most buff spells don't change your BAB. Transformation is the only one that does so that I can remember.

Transformation however does.
