Im pragmatic. I think Christmas 2016. What ive learned: (1) so much more story in gming than playing, (2) scenarios are not entirely linear in their relaying of information, you may have something pages later that relates to earlier section, (3) because of item two, you must read scenario before gming, (4) players appreciate GM's. Dont worry about your shortcomings. Put in a good effort and be fair. Players will reciprocate, (5) different regions play the game differently (have GMd in FL, AL, MS and LA. Play styles varry from location to location; and (6) you will be a better player after gming.
