I'm running WotR and I've given Xanthir Vang several spells from WotC's 3.x material. While the cohort wizard is is going to benefit immensely, I think several of spells would work well for the magus and witch characters as well. I wondering if guidelines for adding spells to Paizo's non-core classes exist.

Only 2.
1. Add with extreme caution.
2. Compare with other spells already extant.
On a personal note. Your casters are going to be slam bang powerful in WOTR as it is. Do they really need a power boost?

Ironically its my melee PC's that are slam bang powerful. The player's will be getting the spells via Xanthir Vang's spell book as he'll be casting the spells.
You have to show some caution but it can work. On the whole, the majority of 3.5 spells aren't inherently better than PF's. A few can get silly, but that just means you should think before you add.
There are no kind of official guidelines though, no.
Thanks for the reply.
