Calgary, AB - Pathfinder or D&D - 3 Players

Gamer Connection

I'm from a group of three looking for someone in Calgary that is willing to take us into their campaign. Two of us are new to RPGs but have done a fair bit of research into characters (Specifically in Pathfinder), we just need a hand with some game mechanics. The other has played Pathfinder and a little bit of D&D but left their previous group due to moving to a different city.

Travel should be easy as I have a car and able to drive the three of us to any location. As an alternative, I'm willing to host the games at my place, I live in the NW (Close to the University). However, I have never played before so I cannot be a GM and my two friends aren't comfortable being a GM just yet.

Hopefully there is someone out there willing to take on a pair of newbies. We're really interested in playing and have been discussing this for awhile. Share your love of the game with us!

Feel free to message me with any inquiries.

I will be moving nearby in May; unfortunately, I'm going to be moving to Drumheller, which is almost two hours away. I am fully capable of running a Pathfinder campaign if there's a way to meet somewhere in the middle though, and in fact, I have a campaign already planned out for whenever I might need to run one.

There seems to be no gaming scene at all in Alberta outside of Calgary and Edmonton for some reason, and I really can't imagine why.

We have a group that recently disbanded due to health concerns and life obligations, so we've been looking for a handful of players to rebuild our ranks so we can play again. My boyfriend and I both have campaigns that we'd like to run, and we're always glad to have new players join us.

Our campaigns are both designed for adults (mature topics) and use some house rules developed by my boyfriend. We live within walking distance of the University, and we'd have a total of 5 players and a GM if the three of you join us. If you'd like to know more about the campaigns, or if you're interested in joining us, fire me a PM.

Hi - still looking for new players . . ?

Not sure if they are, but I still am.

We're looking to expand our present group; one of our players is on a hiatus due to work and that leaves us with just two active players at the moment. Normally we try to get together 3 to 4 times a month on Saturday afternoons, generally 12pm-5pm. We play in the north end of the city. We're looking for players that will mesh with our group dynamic and availability to attend regular sessions. We all miss the odd game day due to otherworldly events, but we're all dedicated to getting together when we can.
As for myself, I'm 40ish and still enjoy playing though game mastering is what I enjoy the most. Our games tend to have some role-playing intermixed with decision making and tactical combat situations. I tend to use props, handouts, miniatures and a battle map for better visualization. The campaign tends to require intelligent play as everything is not scaled to the player characters, its an open world, home brew campaign set in the Pathfinder world of Golarion.

I see from older posts you played Friday evenings, if you ever switch back to that let me know.
