isn't this phrase a little redundant? after all, has anyone ever made a will save vs an effect that didn't affect the mind?

for example, the unbreakable's 2nd level ability.

Sovereign Court

Will saves are also used to resist Channeled Energy. That's not Mind-affecting.

You have a point that most Will-saves are mind-affecting, but if you look close enough at all the effects that cause Will saves, you will find many that are not mind-affecting.

Here are a few:
Slow
Bestow Curse
Holy Smite

There are quite a few spells that allow will saves but aren't mind affecting

Glitterdust is a big one.

So is slow.

resisting intelligent weapons is an unnamed will save.
