Does the Magical Knack trait affect cleric's channel and cleric domain powers?

I have 5 HD character, level 3 cleric and level 2 wizard. If I take the Magical Knack trait for the cleric class will the character channel as a level 5 cleric (3d6 and improved DC)? Will his domain powers work as if he was level 5?

No, just caster level for spell casting.
