This is probably a pretty easy question, but I'm not seeing it in the feat description: What happens after you select the Leadership feat?
I don't mean when you initially gather your cohort and followers, but instead I'm referring to what happens as you level. Do you gain the benefit of Leadership just the once, or do you recalculate your leadership score every time you gain a level, and then can add to your number of followers that way? Or do you have to take have to take the feat more than once?
I have a character that is looking into perhaps starting his own Pathfinder Lodge, but I'm trying to figure out the logistics of doing so and Leadership seems to be the first start. Guidance on any other rules and/or systems would be greatly appreciated as well.

Recalculate your leadership score every time you level, or every time an event happens that applies one of the modifiers. You only need to take the feat once.
Read this. Then strongly consider getting The Leadership Handbook from Everyman Gaming.

You could also look into the Downtime rules from Ultimate Campaign. There's stuff there about recruiting teams of employees, building or buying a building and running all sorts of businesses. It's not the most streamlined or balanced system though, so beware.
For example - Wealth by level for a 3rd level PC is 3000gp. With which you could recruit 30 level 3 NPC warriors with long swords, shortbows, breastplates and light horses.
The downtime system does give you a way to have a more extensive and specialised organisation though. You can spefically recruit bureaucrats to do your accounts, a low level cleric to act as guild healer etc.
