A few questions on Item Sell values and sellability in PFS

Scarab Sages 2/5

So, I know if I buy an item (lets say a bow) with prestige, its sell value is 0. But what If i enchant that bow to +1? would its sale value still be zero? or half the added value (1000gp)?

That's the easy question. the next one is only if the bow's sale value is half the added value. It also requires some explaining. I am building a CORE Arcane Archer. The Arcane class will be Wizard, with the bow as my arcane bonded object. So if I buy a MW Composite(+2) Darkwood Longbow with 2 prestige and at level 5 (caster level 4) enchant it to a +1 for 1000, I'm golden. But I plan to get a belt to up my strength from 14 to 18. so id ideally want to pick up a new composite (+4) bow, make that my Bonded object and sell the old bow (Core, so no adaptive to fix this problem). Is this legal in PFS? The FAQ seems to suggest you don't need to 'lose' your bow to make a new bonded object. But can you sell the crafted item (obviously for half added value, so only 500)?

You're enhancing it using the bonded item crafting ability, right? You can't sell those. You can't sell items purchased using prestige either. Basically, you're stuck with it, sorry. However, consider that the cost of increasing your strength with the belt could be invested in other things to increase your damage with the bow. Besides, you really want to boost your dex before your strength when you're archery-focused.

Arcane bonds only function as magic items for the bonded wizard, so it's "just a bow" to anyone else.

Although this is answered above, I'm just adding a note for extra clarity. I also had this question regarding selling back enchanted prestige items for quite a while myself until I dug through the rules.

The Society Play Guide states fairly clearly in the prestige table footnotes:

"Once per session, you can acquire any single item of
this cost or less from your faction by spending the
appropriate number of Prestige Points. Items purchased
this way are worth 0 gp and cannot be sold."

It says nothing that prohibits you from enchanting further a prestige purchased weapon or armor; just that you should make sure it is something you want to keep because you will never be able to sell it.
