Retraining rules are in Ultimate Campaign. edit: They don't include an option to retrain a trait, but you can retrain an alternate racial trait (if you want to badly enough).

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your answers. If I were to use the feat, additional traits, I imagine I could retrain my choice of traits and give myself the feat additional traits again.
In other words, I could retrain magical lineage with a first level spell for a third level spell & assign it back into the aditional traits feat.
I do research first before I make a character so I don't have trouble later on. Which is why I am asking.

True, according to the retrain rules, aditional trait is a feat and qualifies for the feat rules retraining. I was wondering if PFS had a restriction on this, which is why I posted my statement. I guess I should have worded it differently.
Most players do not understand that the background traits are not feats. The rules describe them as having the power of half of a feat & this has caused some confusion. Originally, I thought background rraits would be under the racial traits retraining rules.
I now see that they are a different category of traits all together. I appreciate your all answers and this is part of the process of learning the rules. Not everything is understood clearly by everyone, I know I'm not alone on these matters.
