a Crew for S&S - One Piece Style

Advice

Soo for our next adventure we will be pirates ! We tought it could be fun to translate ( at least partially ) the crew of Luffy & Co in PC..
Rules are :

20 pts buy
All Paizo
1 Trait ( because the other one is one of the Campaign traits )

How you would create each member of the cast ? We need your help XD

Sovereign Court

Luffy crew heh?

Let see assuming all materials are available:

-Luffy (Human Aberrant Bloodrager), you gain reach, eventually at higher level getting protection against critical hits due to your unusual body.

-Zoro (Human Slayer) Just focus on two weapon fighting. You could try to have more swords but quite frankly you aren't going to have a good time on a mechanical level.

-Nami (Human Archaeologist [Bard]) Not much to say really, just some kind of a better rogue with magical tools when necessary.

-Usopp (Human Alchemist) Just focus on lobbing bombs and the likes. Not much else to say.

-Sanji (Human Brawler) Pummeling style and whatever else you need with martial flexibility.

-Tony Tony Chopper (Gnome Mutagenic Mauler [Brawler]) Quite simple use your mutagen to hit hard.

-Frankie (Android Cyber Soldier [Fighter Archetype]) Get cybernetic implants from the technology guide of course, only if it is available, if not just play a Android Fighter and fluff the combat feats as technological wonders.

-Nico Robin (Wizard or Sorcerer) Can fluff the arms as Black Tentacles and the likes, spell wise.

you forgot Brook, he is clearly a bard fighting with a swordcane, race anything that is undead.
Also i see chopper as an mutagen focused alchemist more than a brawler.

Zoro can dip two levels of Bard (Juggler Archetype) so he can triple-wield swords.

Eltacolibre was spot-on except for Chopper. He's definitely an alchemist - who else could be the ship's doctor?

Luffy would need some unusual stuff to get his truly absurd reach. I doubt he is replicable in Pathfinder. He'd have some unique abilities as a result of the consumable magic item he acquired early in his career (the Gomu Gomu Fruit) that surpass what a typical Aberrant Bloodrager would have.

Sovereign Court

True chopper for an alchemist would be better and Yeah forgot about Brook indeed.

Yeah for the reach, can't find anything that would help with that, except I guess ask your dm if he is willing to have your aberrant bloodrage reach increase as you level, would recommend +5 ft every 5 levels, by level 15, you would have a reach of 20 ft which is not bad at all and shouldn't break the game too bad mechanically.

uhm definetely a Bloodrager for Luffy ( Aberrant + Long Arm + Lunge should do the trick i think ) !

For the 3rd sword of Zoro, maybe we can ask our GM to let him get 1 extra attack with the sword like a Bite attack ?

Some love for Nico Robin ? Maybe some weird synthetist combination ?

Sovereign Court

If you want an alternate way to build Nico Robin with summoner, you can look at the Tark's Summoner Melee guide for the tag teamer build or I guess commander build, if you want to have multiple eidolons which look like a bunch of arms.

Not much to say about it, you will still get black tentacles eventually later on with the summoner spellcasting.

For our Skull & Shackles, we accidentally created a crew that would fit perfectly into One Piece.

Our party includes:

- A glasses-wearing intellectual with muscles to make Superman look flimsy who can (and has) strangled the following creatures to death: Gargantuan giant shark, octopus, giant squid, devilfish, sea serpent, and a jungle. In one fight, he grappled a boat.
- A raging barbarian who carries an entire full-sized cannon around which he fires from his shoulder, then uses as an improvised melee weapon.
- A half-elf arcanist who can swim, without the aid of magic, so well that he can calmly do the backstroke out of a whirlpool, swim up waterfalls, and is incapable of getting lost while at sea.
- And one human captain who is bewildered by the absurdity surrounding him at all times.

I can see them making a swashbuckler-esque, deed-based bard archetype eventually; that'll be perfect for Brooke.
