[Place Your Order] is grayed out.

Dear Paizo,

I am attempting to make a purchase of two Digital items, but I find my efforts completely blocked.

I get to the "Payment Method" page, but I am unable to progress beyond that point.
The shown payment method - my credit card - is current and correct.

When I force the issue by selecting "Confirm Your Order" that page does come up, but while [Continue Shopping] is active, [Place Your Order] is grayed out, so I cannot proceed.

Update!

I was able to resolve the issue by separating the two items.

Spices and Flesh was a gift.
Trial by Machine was not.

Because I attempted to do this as one order, the system was confused. Would adding an error message explaining the problem be helpful?

Ah. Interesting. I did not realize that would/could happen. I'm glad you found a way to make it work.

I'll have someone pop this over to the Website Feedback thread, so the tech team can look into what it would take to add some kind of error message.

I've seen this issue before with even a single item (every time I order, I think). I usually order PDFs (PFS scenarios or PDF rulebooks).

The issue is fixed by refreshing the page, for me at least.
