Okay so I'm building a Soul knife
The characters total level is 10 and I'm using the gifted armored blade archetypes.
The stats are as follows
Strength-11
Dexterity 18
Constitiution- 14
Intelligence-14
Wisdom- 20
Charisma-10
All racial and by level up bonuses included no magic items yet. And I'm using the blade skill focused offense which nets me wisdom to attkc and damage. Character in question is a 300 year old kokiri who wants to grow up. Alignment - chaotic good or neutral good
Getting to my question would a one level dip in martial artist monk be worth it, I see +2 to saves and if I go with the improved armor blade skill for light armor it counts as no armor so the wisdom to Ac bonus should work. Point being is this worth the dip, I find the soul knifes capstone to be rather bland.

Sounds like it might be a good idea. On the whole the blade skill shouldn't give you more than a set of bracers, so you could save a blade skill, buy some bracers of armour, and still do the dip. Some would argue that a two-level dip of Master of Many Styles might be better as you can pick up some style feats that may be handy, but martial artist is pretty good alone.

Although combining that with monk might be a bit redundant... deadly fist btw would be the main, it gets its own flurry of blows esq thing as a blade skill, and fists count as magic due to a scaling enhancement bonus. so at that point i could do something that gets rid of the monks flurry like master of many styles or something. as long as i get the wisdom to ac bonus from monk.
