Suggestions for the Paizo Blog

Below is a list of ideas that I would like to suggest be considered for the Paizo Blog. Of them is the possibility to have a morning and an afternoon blog for two days out of the week. I love the articles that are shown though I would like to suggest some others and perhaps a little bit more frequency from some. This is not meant to be a negative post nor do I wish to draw out what is "wrong" with the blogs, only what could be changed based on the suggestions below.

Monday: PFS Blog
Tuesday: Feedback Article & Convention Article
Wednesday Pathfinder Fiction
Thursday: Product Showcase & Golarion Article
Friday: Pathfinder Miniatures

PFS Blog: The Pathfinder Society Blog has been very consistent and enjoyable to read. No matter how long or short the article is I find the information useful and informative. Please keep up the good work.

Feedback Article: I think it is important to have an article where you are requesting feedback from your audience, rather than having us respond to you in sometimes a negative way. These articles can be once a month and geared towards a specific aspect of the game each month. I know I have felt that the staffs online presence has been a bit quiet as of late (just my point of view as I know the workload for Paizo employees has been non-stop and immense) and I feel this would open the doors of communication on your terms.

Convention Article: I think it would be interesting to have an article showcasing Pathfinders presence at various conventions and which employees will be attending. You could showcase their panels and plans for the convention to help build local enthusiasm and possibly increase attention to the convention.

Pathfinder Fiction: Still good with no need for changes.

Product Showcase: In my opinion I feel that the product showcase articles have not been as frequent as they could be given the number of products that are produced each month. I enjoy the articles that do showcase upcoming products. I would like to see more of these on a weekly basis.

Golarion Article: I would like to see the weekly Golarion article brought back to the Paizo blog. I think these articles could help bring excitement to regions unknown and help judge interest for future publications.

Pathfinder Miniatures: I have enjoyed these articles and I feel the content is very clear and full of details.

I look forward to the feedback from the community though I encourage everyone to be kind and uplifting in their responses.

Tuesday is currently typically a Pathfinder Adventure Card Game post on the blog. It is the one I look forward to the most.

Just pointing that out for informational purposes, not really to comment about your suggestions.

Thanks Hawkmoon, I forgot about that blog. Do you think it is possible to do a PACG blog on a more regular basis? Maybe every 2 weeks???

Well, right now I think they are almost weekly. Maybe not quite, but almost. And I love that. I look forward to it every Tuesday (like I am today). So I really hope they keep that up. There seems to be enough to cover. They preview the next product once a month, and the other blog posts have been about various aspects of the game. There was even talk about a post for each of the class deck characters at some point, which would go into detail about their design and back story.

So I think weekly is pretty possible.

Tuesday belongs to the card game, along with periodic announcements like RPG Superstar and playtests.

Personally, now that the PACG is the article on Tuesdays, I don't even bother checking the Blog except on Thursdays. I don't play PFS, I couldn't afford to keep up with the PACG as well as other things, I'm not interested in the fiction, and the miniatures is barely a blip on my radar. In fact, I've noticed my visits to the site waning of late.

Just my own two cents there.
