This is my attempt at the title above. Currently on the fence between characters and just playing around with them to see how they'd do. This is one of two arcanists I'm interested in, the other being an occult arcanist.
The idea for this build is to amp the DC of various spells one wouldn't want to fail a save against. For this, I've chosen Conjuration and Necromancy as the two primary schools to focus on.

Maybe not as strong as the occult arcanist, but a 20DC create pit or blindness (with potent magic) will be rough on the enemy. The extra reservoir will make it so that he has more spells to potent with. Familiar gives us another boost to initiative letting us have a solid chance at going first and ending things quickly. Later on, we'll pick up Persistent Metamagic, making life hell for enemies.
Honestly one could build this onto the occult arcanist chasis and have summons for when things look a bit too "hearty".
Thoughts? Any ideas on how to further up the DCs? Better spells to potent?
