Slumbering Tsar Saga- Levels What to What?

The majority of Pathfinder adventures tend to give a description of suitable levels for starting PCs parties, as well as the expected level at the end. I cannot find one for the Slumbering Tsar Saga. I assume it is 1st through 20th given the scope of the campaign, but I'd like clarification from the folks who own the book.

You may also want to check out the other Tsar threads because they go into some of the play issues that can happen when using the Pathfinder rules unchecked. (For example, allowing PCs to make their own magic items by the rules as written.)

Even with the minor issues, though, Tsar is (to me) the best Pathfinder campaign in existence.

Libertad, it will realistically take parties from 7th up to 22nd or 23rd level, if you don't cap max levels at 20 and just keep using the same math iterations for XP, etc. If you do cap at 20, then they will get there no problem and get to play at that level for a good while before they get to the end of the adventure. In the playtest I ran, the PCs all ended up around 23rd level (I didn't cap).

You're certainly welcome.

The product has so many wonderful storylines/subplots that the GM can either use or completely ignore and the adventure works regardless. There's room for GM expansion if desired, but a GM doesn't have to do *any* expansion if that's their preference.

There's also no time pressure for the PCs to accomplish tasks (unless the GM wants, of course).

I also *love* the background information on many of the encounters that the players may never find out, but that helps the GM set the tone.

Finally, PCs can (and will) die if they don't play smart - or at least know when to retreat.
