As per named.
It could be PFS, homebrew, modules.
We've just finished PFS part 1, Bloodcove. Those who've played it remember the summoner innkeeper. My monk proposed to stuff her in a barrel and be shipped away, to much approval of the barkeep. Currently she'll be shipped off to Ilrissen.
So what have you done to named NPC that's totally unexpected?

We were playing Carrion Hill last night, actually. We're not playing PFS so the GM was allowing up to CR 1 monster races; I was playing a Formian Worker. A fighter, with an 11 charisma, and no ranks in bluff. And...
Spoiler:
We tracked down the Middenstone wizard/cultist guy, and by this point we already knew the roaches were used to make it. My character saw him first, and I blurted out "I'm the mighty cockroack god, come to kill you for your misdeeds!" and rolled a 19 to bluff. The guy believed it, freaked out and ran, then fell off a balcony.
Karma bit me, tho. I jumped after him, he made his acrobatics check to avoid damage (it was a 10ft drop), and I failed mine. :P
Fun.
