Question is simple, can you use the bodyguard feat while you are still flat-footed (thus in the surprise round and possibly first round), considering that you have combat reflexes since it is a prerequisite?
Yes, as long as you have Combat Reflexes (there are ways to get Bodyguard and skip its prerequisite) you can make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed which includes Bodyguard.
