I'm not seeing much use of this lately, and the prices have gone up. If it's providing to value to people, let me know or I'll probable let it go at the end of this month, or switch the location and set something smaller up that will be free.

The Highroad does use it each weekend for it's weekly hunt.

I am usually on it when online, but alas i do not see people often on it... Which is a shame, it is a great place to try and barter for items, or even see if people are interested on working on escalations together in the north.

I mostly use it for the weekly hunt, but I also check it occasionally when there's nobody on Tavernhold's TS3 server.

Is there a way we could contribute to the operating costs?

I think the intent behind this is great and the weekend hunts are a good example of how it helps to bring the Northern settlements together. One can see that it or something like it will be a necessity if we are going to have any kind of reasonable regional defence response time. Logging into various clients and servers to try and find help in an emergency is unlikely to work. I think we should push our respective settlements to use it exclusively going forward. Spreading the operational costs would certainly be fair.

I think Daeglin has a point, and it would help solidify the Highroad and FreeHighlanders alliance and allow easy communication work between the various settlements.

This is entirely separate from Goblinworks.

There are enough interested people that I have gone ahead and bought 2 years. If anyone wants to help, my email (for paypal) is listed int eh mumble welcome text, or PM me here and I'll send it to you.

While the mumble is provided by the north currently, it is open to anyone. If you represent a settlement on the map or an independent company, and want to be able to set up special rooms for yourselves, let me know and I can extend admin privileges.

For what it's worth, Forgeholm is working on a fund for the use of the greater needs of Forgeholm. We have not solidified the plan yet but are considering a voluntary amount of $2 per month per player (not per character) to allow us to do things like use TS , Mumble, Ventrilo or whatever we need, maybe buy a community Small Holding, help fund things like PFU or the Golarion Mumble,and purchase items from the (still pending) cash shop later on when more items are introduced. We are still working out the details, how purchases are decided, who manages the account (likely a PayPal account), etc...

So, Forgeholm willlikely assist (I want us to), but the details are still being worked out.

And, I would encourage other settlements to do much the same thing (see my post above) so we may all reap the benefits of things like the Golarion Mumble. Nothing onerous, and totally voluntary. But it would be a great help to the community at large.
